Handmade with love in Philadelphia.
Melissa Clouser-Missett (Meli Clo-Miss) is a modern quilter and fiber artist who works out of her home studio in Philadelphia, PA. Her work is a contemporary blend of existing patterns and novel design that usually combines high-contrast patterns with vibrant solids. She creates quilts of all sizes, quilted wall hangings, and quilted pouches with the goal of adding a pop of handmade goodness to the contemporary home.
Melissa’s professional background is in Art Education. She spent many years as a middle school art teacher before becoming a full-time mama to twins in 2019. She loves to hike and camp with her family and is working on opening her own sewing studio and quilt shop in northwest Philadelphia.
